An irregularly shaped board is hung from two or more different holes. At each position, a vertical line is drawn with a dry-erase marker down from the hole. The intersection of the lines identifies the center of gravity.

When the board is hung from a hole located at the center of gravity no net torque exists regardless of the board's orientation.
